  1. Open side-edit – click on the title of media;

  2. In the “Main” tab you can:
    1. change a title of media,
    2. see media ID, asset ID, status and ingest time;
    3. change the category of media (default category is “root”);
    4. edit metadata – to activate editor additional configuration is needed, please contact your account manager.

  3.  In the "Media tags" tab you can select a tag from the list.

  4. In the “Playback URLs” tab you can:
    1. play stream by clicking on the “Play media” button;
    2. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    3. choose Manifest;
    4. view and copy HLS URL, HDS URL or MPEG DASH URL;
    5. view and copy progressive downloads in a pop up to MP4 files for players using such. NOTE! Additional configuration/integration is required for this option to be available, please contact your account manager.

  5. In the “Embed code” tab you can:
    1. view and copy embed code;
      NOTE! We have updated the embed code to work better with limitations set by browsers. Be sure to update it in your landing page if you embeded it manually.
    2. by clicking "Responsive embed wrapper" player adaptively resizes depending on the rest of the page. Before posting responsive embed in your webpage, please check if it does not conflict with the page;
    3. choose to show related media - random videos from the same Category (depending on Availability times and Published status) as related after the video is finished. Shows 6 videos max;
    4. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    5. choose Manifest;
    6. choose default bitrate;
    7. change protocol- HLS or MPEG DASH;
    8. change player type - THEOPlayer regular or THEOPlayer VR 360;
    9. change size (WxH);
    10. change aspect ratio;
    11. make changes to embed code by adding autoplay, auto subtitles or start muted;
    12. set media start time or choose a random start time;
    13. set embed password for the player to allow only authorized access;
    14. by clicking “Enable public webpage” you will get a public URL for your media.

  6. In the “Player functions” tab you can:
    1. add a custom player poster to your stream – you can also generate it from video choosing specific frame;
    2. add a custom play button to your stream;
    3. add a company logo to your stream;
    4. add media asset logo redirect URL - URL that will open when the logo is clicked in the player;
    5. hide player functions – options, volume, subtitle, progress bar, disable background image while loading, play/pause icon, time, fullscreen icon;
    6. turn on extended buffer – loads 60s ahead in the player instead of default 20s;
    7. turn on video looping;
    8. turn on video preload – preloads video content before ads finish and before the user clicks on the video;
    9. turn on disable pausing playback – disables play button. If you set autoplay - the video will start immediately and without pause option, but if you do not set autoplay, you can press the play button on the video, but you can not stop it;
    10. add customizations;
    11. add social sharing option – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Due to new restrictions in browsers, to allow social sharing to work correctly, page URL has to be supplied to embed URL using ref parameter. Please set 'ref' parameter in embed code URL (&ref=<PAGE_URL>)!
    12. add custom titles and video player text translations;
    13. add Singular Live output URL for custom overlays;
    14. change colour to subtitles background colour, change font name.

  7. In the “File packages” tab you can:
    1. see all media source and transcoded media files;
    2. see all information on audio, video and text files including used profiles for encoded files;
    3. edit source, transcoded files, see all information about each item;
    4. download or delete the file;
    5. preview text files.

  8. In the "Advertisements" tab you can:
    1. add VAST URLs for advertisements;
    2. set mid-roll advertisements as recurring;
    3. block player on ADS Block Plugin to prevent ad-blocker.

  9. In the "Manifests/Fragments" tab you can:
    1. view and edit manifests;
    2. add new manifests:
      1. add name and set as default;
      2. set start and end time;
      3. choose file package;
      4. set included audio language tracks for each manifest for regionalized content e.g. you have selected the content for Germany with GER and ENG languages and the same content for Sweden with ENG and SWE languages;
      5. choose bitrates.

  10. In the “Security” tab you can:
    1. choose to block VPN/proxy users - VPN/proxy detection as an optional check in addition to geographical IP address checking (to activate this feature contact your account manager); 
    2. enable encryption method: DRM, AES-128 or DRM with AES-128 as fallback (to activate these features contact your account manager); 
    3. choose to Use token for playback;
    4. choose to Use token for embed to protect the embed code against re-embedding in conjunction with Restrict embed in Domains field. 
    5. if the top option is marked, Only use for disallowed countries option will appear. This sets the token enforcement only for geo-blocked countries. Is used to allow content access for registered users outside of allowed regions, e.g. EU;
    6. change Token duration – from 1 hour to 1 month;
    7. Restrict Embed in Domains;
    8. add IP Blacklist – specific subnet and/or IP address you want to deny access to your content;
    9. add IP Whitelist – specific subnet and/or IP address you want to allow access to your content;
    10. add countries in which playback is allowed.

  11. In the “Transcoding” tab you can change transcode preset in the dropdown and the status.

  12. In the "Transcoding logs" tab you can see the muxing, test and transcoding logs.

  13. In the “Availability” tab you can:
    1. Set to publish the video – make it available on your public webpage;
    2. Set media availability time- from – when availability time has been reached, player refreshes automatically and Play button is available for end-users;
    3. Set media expiration time;
    4. Set time after which source files are deleted when transcoded ones are available;
    5. Set time after which transcoded media files are deleted when upload to destination is completed; 
    6. Set time after which uploaded media will be deleted;
    7. Set time after which assets are deleted when expire.
