  1. Open side-edit – click on the title of a channel.



  2. In the “Main” tab you can:
    1. change the title of a channel;
    2. see the channel ID and a creation date;
    3. choose or change the category;
    4. set custom channel cname. 

  3. In the “Stream publishing” tab you can:
    1. see the information necessary for pushing your stream to the channel;
    2. edit part of the stream key in the Channel prefix box (up to three characters), to avoid unauthorized publishing when reusing the same channel with different content publishers.

  4. In the “Playback URLs” tab you can:
    1. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    2. choose Manifest;
    3. view and copy HLS URL or DASH URL;
    4. edit XMLTV EPG settings (XMLTV formatted EPG is generated from the existing and planned DVR recordings list of the channel):
      - Starts hours before current - set the number of hours to include in the EPG before the current time.
      - Ends hours after current - set the number of hours to include in the EPG after the current time.
      - URL - publicly accessible URL of the EPG in XMLTV format.
      - Programme time rounding - set the precision for adjusting all programme start and end times to the nearest value meeting the criteria.

  5. In the “Embed code” tab you can:
    1. copy embed code;
    2. by clicking "Responsive embed wrapper" player adaptively resizes depending on the rest of the page;
    3. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    4. choose Manifest;
    5. change player type - THEOPlayer regular or THEOPlayer VR 360;
    6. choose the protocol - HLS or MPEG DASH
    7. change size (WxH);
    8. change aspect ratio;
    9. make changes to embed code by adding autoplay or start muted;
    10. by clicking “Enable public webpage” you will get a public URL for your stream.

  6. In the “Player functions” tab you can:
    1. choose to use thumbnail as player poster image;
    2. add custom player poster, play button and company logo to your stream;
    3. add logo redirect URL - URL that will open when the logo is clicked in the player;
    4. hide player functions – options, volume, subtitle, progress bar, disable background image while loading, play/pause icon, time, fullscreen icon;
    5. add custom CSS;
    6. add social sharing option – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn. Due to new restrictions in browsers, to allow social sharing to work correctly, page URL has to be supplied to embed URL using ref parameter. Please set 'ref' parameter in embed code URL (&ref=<PAGE_URL>)!
    7. add custom titles;
    8. add Singular Live output URL for custom overlays; 
    9. add subtitle URL and label;
    10. change colour to subtitles, background colour, change font family.

  7. In the "Advertisement" tab you can:
    1. add URLs to VAST advertisement XML;
    2. set mid-roll advertisements as recurring;
    3. block player on ADS Block Plugin to prevent ad-blocker.

  8. In the "Availability" tab you can:
    1.  change or schedule start and end time for the live channel – only admin user in the video cloud will see incoming stream until the scheduled start time. When start time begins, the player refreshes automatically and the Play button is available for end-users. Add player poster for your viewers, with information on when you are going live;
    2.  change or set pre-event and post-event poster images for the channel.

  9. In the “Security” tab you can:
    1. choose to block VPN/proxy users - VPN/proxy detection as an optional check in addition to geographical IP address checking (to activate these features contact your account manager);
    2. enable encryption method: DRM, AES-128 or DRM with AES-128 as fallback (to activate these features contact your account manager);
    3. enable the Use token for playback;
    4. choose to Use token for embed to protect the embed code against re-embedding in conjunction with Restrict embed in Domains field.
    5. if the top option is marked, Only use for disallowed countries option will appear. This sets the token enforcement only for geo-blocked countries. Is used to allow content access for registered users outside of allowed regions, e.g. EU;
    6. change Token validity – from 1 hour to 1 month;
    7. Restrict Embed in Domains;
    8. add IP Blacklist;
    9. add IP Whitelist;
    10. add countries in which playback is allowed.

  10. In the “Recording” tab you can:
    1. set time after what record will be automatically deleted or check Auto delete box;
    2. change the default duration of recording;
    3. change TV playout Nimbus channel timeline refresh interval, channel ID and recording manifest.

  11. In the “Elementary streams” tab you can:
    1. see if the channel is transcoded;
    2. change Ingest protocol to RTMP, UDP and SRT are available upon request;
    3. view ingest servers;
    4. set auto shutdown time;
    5. change Video PID and Audio PID;
    6. view all added bitrates or add new;

    7. choose to restream the channel at any bitrate to as many destinations as needed by clicking on the RESTREAM button. Copy Stream Key information from your destination e.g. Facebook scheduled event settings, see instructions on how to schedule and go live on Facebook

       

  12. In the “Manifests” tab you can:
    1. see all added manifests;
    2. add new manifest by clicking on the “Add new” button;
    3. in Manifests pop-up you can change/add all information about the current manifest. Define which bitrates are shown to end-users in the player window and arrange in which order the player loads first.
