  1. Open side-edit – click on the title of media;

  2. In the “Main” tab you can:
    1. change a title of media,
    2. see media ID, asset ID, status and ingest time;
    3. add description text and PG (Parental Guidance Suggested) rating for media;
    4. change the folder of media (default folder is “root”);
    5. edit metadata – to activate editor additional configuration is needed, please contact your account manager.

  3.  In the "Media tags" tab you can select a tag from the list.

  4. In the “Playback URLs” tab you can:
    1. play stream by clicking on the “Play media” button;
    2. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    3. choose Manifest;
    4. view and copy HLS URL, HDS URL or MPEG DASH URL;
    5. view and copy progressive downloads in a pop up to MP4 files for players using such. NOTE! Additional configuration/integration is required for this option to be available, please contact your account manager.

  5. In the “Embed code” tab you can:
    1. view and copy Iframe or Javascript embed code – for simple and easy embedding use Iframe embed code. Details on how to embed into the page here: Player embedding
    2. by clicking "Responsive embed wrapper" player adaptively resizes depending on the rest of the page. Before posting responsive embed in your webpage, please check if it does not conflict with the page;
    3. choose to show related media - random videos from the same Folder (depending on Availability times and Published status) as related after the video is finished. Shows 6 videos max, video Title is shown;
    4. change HTTPS to HTTP or otherwise;
    5. make changes to embed code by adding Player settings;

    6. make changes to embed code by adding Advertisment player settings;
    7. make changes to embed code by adding Protection player settings;
    8. choose Manifest;
    9. choose default bitrate;
    10. change protocol- HLS or MPEG DASH;
    11. change player type - THEOPlayer regular or THEOPlayer VR 360;
    12. change size (WxH);
    13. change aspect ratio;
    14. make changes to embed code by adding autoplay, auto subtitles or start muted;
    15. set media start time or choose a random start time;
    16. set embed password for the player to allow only authorized access – poster image as a background and video title is shown;
    17. by clicking “Enable public webpage” you will get a public URL for your media;
    18. by clicking “Enable preview webpage” you will get a public URL for the stream preview and you can limit its availability time.

  6. In the “Player functions” tab you can:
    1. Choose predefined Player Settings which you can edit in the Settings  - Players section. You will be redirected to the Player presets tab in our new Videosher portal.
    2. Upload player poster;
    3. Generate player poster directly from the media.

  7. In the "Presentation configuration" tab you can: (this tab is available when .pdf file is uploaded to the asset!):
    1. enable presentation mode;
    2. choose presentation file - only .pdf files supported.


  8. In the “File packages” tab you can:
    1. see all media source and transcoded media files;
    2. see all information on audio, video and text files including used profiles for encoded files;
    3. edit source, transcoded files, see all information about each item;
    4. download or delete the file;
    5. preview text files.

  9. In the "Advertisements" tab you can choose predefined Advertisement Settings which you can edit in the Settings - Players section. You will be redirected to the Player presets tab in our new Videosher portal.

  10. In the "Manifests/Fragments" tab you can:
    1. view and edit manifests;
    2. add new manifests:
      1. add name and set as default;
      2. set start and end time;
      3. choose file package;
      4. set included audio language tracks for each manifest for regionalized content e.g. you have selected the content for Germany with GER and ENG languages and the same content for Sweden with ENG and SWE languages;
      5. choose bitrates.

  11. In the “Security” tab you can:
    1. choose predefined Protection Settings which you can edit in the Settings - Players section. You will be redirected to the Player presets tab in our new Videosher portal.
    2. enable encryption method: DRM, AES-128 or DRM with AES-128 as fallback (to activate these features contact your account manager). Not available in multi-selection mode; 
    3. choose to Use token for playback - not available in multi-selection mode;
    4. Use token for submanifests and chunks – this option works in conjunction with Use token for playback, improves the protection of the content. May be used only with compatible players; 
    5. change Token duration – from 1 hour to 1 month;

  12. In the “Transcoding” tab you can change transcode preset in the dropdown and the status.

  13. In the "Transcoding logs" tab you can see the muxing, test and transcoding logs.

  14. In the “Availability” tab you can:
    1. Set to publish the video – make it available on your public webpage;
    2. Set media availability time- from – when availability time has been reached, player refreshes automatically and Play button is available for end-users;
    3. Set media expiration time;
    4. Set time after which source files are deleted when transcoded ones are available;
    5. Set time after which transcoded media files are deleted when upload to destination is completed; 
    6. Set time after which uploaded media will be deleted;
    7. Set time after which assets are deleted when expire.
