In the "Workflow profiles" settings, you can create profiles that can be automatically applied to newly ingested media or files.

The profiles are created here and then assigned to folders in the Media and Files sections. When the workflow profile is configured for a folder you have to make a similarly named folder path under FTP /media folder, e.g. for a folder tree Root → Movies → Comedies you will create folders /media/Movies/Comedies to place the respective files and ingest them in a particular folder.

There are 2 types of workflow profiles: Media and File.

Media type workflow profiles can be applied to media in the Media section. The profiles have these settings:

  1. Main tab:
    1. Name;
    2. Generate thumbnails for the player;
    3. Subtitle time offset - subtract the time interval from source subtitle times;
    4. Choose if asset name should be updated from video - when the video file is uploaded after some other files, e.g. audio or subtitles, which do not contain correct media name;
    5. If FTP uploads should replace or append if a duplicate is found - defines the action if a new file with the same name is ingested.
